Chelsea FC announce rotated squad to face Leeds United in Carabao Cup

Chelsea’s official account posted that the Blues will take on Leeds United in the Carabao Cup, accompanied by what appears to be the team sheet/image showing a heavily rotated lineup (including young or fringe players such as Reggie Watson and Valentín Barco in midfield, Estêvão starting, Mike Penders in goal, and several first-team regulars rested). It is trending due to high engagement driven by fan debate over manager Xabi Alonso’s youthful/experimental selection against a Premier League side in a competition Chelsea are treating seriously given their lack of European football.
