Yankees leave Aaron Judge off wild-card roster

The Yankees left Aaron Judge off their roster for the best-of-three AL Wild Card Series against the Red Sox, deciding that the risk of playing him less than two weeks after a right calf strain outweighed his late push to return. Judge had taken live batting practice and said he wanted to play, but had not yet run the bases; the team may try to bring him back for the AL Division Series if it advances.
