ZenaTech Wins Nearly $1M Solar Contracts
ZenaTech says one of its U.S. Drone as a Service locations won multiple contracts worth nearly $1 million for drone-based topographic surveys supporting a utility company’s solar infrastructure project, part of a planned multi-year, multibillion-dollar grid upgrade. The company estimates the project could bring up to $2.5 million in additional surveying revenue over the next two years, but that work depends on successful delivery and further contract awards. Potential solar inspection and maintenance work after construction would be separate and is not included in that estimate. ZenaTech says it plans to use drones and proprietary AI processing to speed up surveys and increase productivity, with a goal of raising profit margins to 40%–60%; those margin figures are company targets.
