Kanye Westâs Twitter account has been suspended after the rapper posted an image including a swastika.
Musk shared the news in response to another tweet, saying, âELON FIX KANYE PLEASE.â
He replied, âI tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.â
The StopAntisemitism Twitter account shared a screenshot of Westâs post showing a swastika embedded within a Jewish star.
In another tweet, Musk clarified Westâs account was suspended for âincitement to violenceâ not an âunflatteringâ photo of himself.
The decision came just after West made remarks about seeing âgood thingsâ about Adolf Hitler during an appearance on Alex Jonesâs Infowars program.
âI love everyone,â he said.
West added, âAnd Jewish people are not going to tell me you can love us, and you can love what weâre doing to you with the contracts, and and you can love what weâre pushing with the pornography.â
He argued, âEvery human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler. Also Hitler was born Christian.â
West later told Jones, âI like Hitler.â
Additionally, just hours after West made the comments on the show, it was reported that he would no longer be buying the social media app Parler.
Axios noted Parler has become a âhaven for conservatives.â
Parlerâs parent company said in a statement, âThis decision was made in the interest of both parties in mid-November. Parler will continue to pursue future opportunities for growth and the evolution of the platform for our vibrant community.â
A source familiar with the situation told Axios that Westâs current financial position, including the loss of his deal with Adidas, played a role in the termination of the deal.
According to the outlet, the rapper has roughly 55,000 followers on Parler. He has 18.5 million followers on Instagram and 32.2 million on Twitter.
