Anthony Edwards calls bulldog Ant Jr. his favorite person and brings him to practice

Anthony Edwards sat for GQ and named his favorite essential right away.

"My favorite essential, my son, Ant Jr, and he's my dog," he said in the January 30, 2023 video 10 Things Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards Can't Live Without. "My most important thing in my life besides basketball is my dog. My favorite person in the world."

Ant Jr., a two-year-old English bulldog, would not sit still. "He can't be still right now, I don't know what's going on, but he's the best in the world. Two years old, English bulldog. Look at him. You just wanna, you just wanna be around me, man. I love him."

Edwards recalled the puppy years when Ant Jr. lay on his chest on the couch while he played video games. Now grown, the dog still jumps onto his chest to settle in while he sleeps. Ant Jr. sits by the shower and follows him into the bathroom. Edwards added that the dog prefers his girlfriend.

The Timberwolves account later posted Edwards bringing Ant Jr. to practice. Yardbarker, via Bleacher Report, headlined the pair best buds for life. A YouTube compilation titled Anthony Edwards LOVES his Dog by I Love Basketball, drawing on the GQ appearance and team footage, has 81,244 likes.
