Dog refuses dinner until owner says grace with him
Haley Buckland’s black Lab Bud won’t touch his chicken and vegetables until she prays with him. The TikTok clip drew millions of views in days.

Haley Buckland offered her black Labrador retriever Bud a meal of chicken and vegetables, told him "Go eat it," and pushed him toward the bowl.
Bud looked back at her instead of eating.
"You need to pray, right?" she asked. He sat and offered his paw.
Buckland said, "God is good, God is great, let us thank him for our food." She ended with "Amen."
Only then did Bud rush to the bowl and eat.
She captioned the post, "I literally can't make this up." One commenter wrote, "Very Godly, very cutesy, very demure." Another said, "He doesn't eat without thanking the Lord first." A third figured he had been "a pastor in his previous life."
Buckland’s @sykotic_girl account holds other videos of Bud praying before meals, and he refuses to eat if she gets the words wrong. The August 13, 2024 TikTok drew 6 million likes and almost 30 million views within a few days; an X post by Trad West sharing it picked up 8,992 likes.
