Tyson Fury called himself out on his build first during the press conference held in London with Anthony Joshua as the pair made their joint appearance.
"I'm the most awkwardly built heavyweight champion. I'm bald, fat..." Fury said.
The line hung in the air before Anthony Joshua jumped in with full agreement.
"It's true."
Fury took that opening and ran with a fresh line aimed straight at his fellow champion standing there with him.
"Then you got this guy here, carved in stone. And everytime he gets cracked in the jaw he falls over."
Sky Sports marked the day with a headline dated Wednesday 30 September 2026, 19:13 UK and made clear that Joshua's response came at the press conference ahead of the December 11 fight.
The fight they were promoting is scheduled for Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday December 11.
