ABC News correspondent Will Reeve, 34, says he was diagnosed with aggressive embryonal testicular cancer after noticing a lump and getting checked at his wife’s urging. The cancer had spread to lymph nodes in his abdomen; he underwent surgery to remove the affected testicle and lymph nodes, followed by two cycles of chemotherapy. Reeve said he was cancer-free at a September 8 checkup and is sharing his experience to encourage others to seek medical care. He credits his parents, Christopher and Dana Reeve, for inspiring him to turn personal adversity into something that could help others.
