Adam Hamilton Preaches Repentance For Eating Beef In Kansas Senate Race

In a state where cows are king, Democratic nominee Adam Hamilton told his church to repent for eating beef. This happened during a sermon titled “What would Jesus say about climate change?” Before seeking a Senate seat, Hamilton headed the nation’s largest United Methodist church.

Hamilton asked his listeners to change their behavior after seeing the world differently. According to reports, repentance signifies that seeing things differently transformed both his heart and his actions. He admitted he had been wasteful with his carbon footprint and needed to do something different.

The race between Hamilton and incumbent Senator Roger Marshall has tightened recently. Kansas slipped from a “Likely R” rating in Fox News‘ Power Rankings to “Lean R.” The Cook Political Report also confirmed that same shift. This change comes as Republicans face a difficult political environment across the country.

Marshall told Fox News Digital that Hamilton’s comments prove he fits the liberal mold. “In a state with more cattle than people, Hamilton saying that Kansans need repent for eating too much beef and flip flopping on the Farm Bill proves he’d be just like every other liberal Democrat in the Senate,” Marshall said.

Hamilton’s campaign pushed back by pointing out Marshall’s own past actions. Tyson Brody, a spokesperson for Hamilton, noted that Marshall has repeatedly introduced legislation to reduce emissions from cattle. Marshall acknowledged that there is widespread concern regarding methane output within the cattle industry.

The spokesperson added that Marshall bragged about how the decline of the herd “eliminated half of the methane gas produced from cattle already.” Brody contended that Roger needed to repent for not supporting Kansas cattle producers regarding tariffs and foreign imports. He also cited skyrocketing diesel prices as a major issue for voters.

High fuel prices are giving voters anxiety in this agriculture-centric state. The cost of diesel has risen, which impacts farming and transport heavily. Such economic pressures are broadening the battleground state map Republicans must protect.

Marshall accuses Hamilton of ignoring the values of the people he wants to represent. The senator frames the sermon as a direct attack on the lifestyle of Kansas families. This clash defines the core of the current Senate contest in the Sunflower State.

Hamilton’s team insists their candidate is being unfairly attacked for past sermons. They argue that Marshall’s own record on emissions contradicts his current campaign attacks.
