Army Doc, RFK Jr Probing Link Between COVID Shot, Deaths

The question of whether COVID-19 vaccines resulted in the deaths of U.S. troops is being looked into by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., War Secretary Pete Hegseth and an Army doctor.

That is what Dr. Theresa Long told a federal court in Virginia regarding the time after President Joe Biden mandated the COVID shots for service members in 2021.

During an Aug. 14 deposition, Long testified Hegseth named her to be Kennedy’s senior medical military adviser, a position that had not previously been made public.

Kennedy, known for being against vaccines, has hired others with the same view to investigate any links between vaccines and rising rates of autism. Studies have not found a link.

Kennedy once described the COVID vaccine as the “most deadly vaccines in history” and ceased a government recommendation that most Americans get them annually.

Vaccine safety experts have said Kennedy’s belief is not true and that statements has contributed to some Americans not getting the vaccine that could reduce the severity of the disease.

Groups representing doctors Wednesday urged Americans to get the shots.

Fewer American adults have gotten the vaccine during Donald Trump’s presidency.

Long said she’s investigating whether 2,544 unverified deaths among service members reported to HHS’ Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System were caused by COVID vaccines.
