Former NFL quarterback Tony Romo is no longer with CBS Sports.

The news comes after Romo’s DUI arrest over the summer.

“CBS Sports and Tony Romo have mutually agreed to part ways. We thank Tony for his contributions over the past nine years and wish him the best moving forward,” the company said in a statement Friday.

Romo was arrested July 23 for failing several sobriety tests after he was pulled over in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, per body camera footage from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.

Romo, a former Dallas Cowboy quarterback, was charged with operating while intoxicated. He pleaded no contest on Sept. 1.

He was ordered to finish an alcohol assessment program and is barred from driving for six months.

JJ Watt will continue to fill in this season along with Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson, CBS Sports said.
