Former Bush Press Secretary Has Warning: 'Look Out'

New Press Secretary Katie Zacharia has been the target of much criticism since standing at the White House podium for the first time Tuesday.
But Dana Perino, former White House press secretary under President George W. Bush and current Fox News mainstay, offered some advice for those watching her.
Perino said Americans needs to "look out” given the possibility of the opposition party retaking Congress.
That’s when her experience as a lawyer will come into play.
“We know her a little bit. She is very bright. She’s a lawyer. Doing the briefing this morning is interesting. I am a morning person—I like to brief in the morning. She has been known to say she likes the press. Perhaps she will try to kill them with kindness,” Perino told Fox News colleague Lawrence Jones Tuesday. “It is an aggressive move to do a briefing this quickly. How much time has she had with the president? She might have to say, “I’ll get back to you, let me touch base.” I can think of all the tough questions. I know she’s been preparing all weekend. The fact she’s a lawyer will help her navigate questions. And also, if the Democrats do take over the House, look out—that is when all the legal stuff comes to the forefront. You know that.”

Perino continued in another segment on Fox News Channel.
"Well, it is the honor of a lifetime. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime. And it’s an incredible job," she said. "And I had a quick exchange with her the other day. I wished her the very best."
