Miller Replaces Wiles as WH Chief of Staff

President Donald Trump said Friday, Stephen Miller was replacing Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff.

This move comes just days after Republicans lost control of Congress in the midterm elections.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump called Miller “one of my most trusted advisors” and praised Wiles for doing “an outstanding job,” saying the change would be effective on Monday.

Wiles’ departure comes months after she said she no longer showed evidence of breast cancer after she underwent months of treatment for the disease, a diagnosis she went public with in March 2026.

Wiles is the longest-serving White House chief of staff for Trump, who had four of them during his first term as president.
