‘Pawn Star’ Head Rick Harrison Has Bypass Surgery
· Sep 4, 2026 · 1 min read

"Pawn Stars" boss Rick Harrison is recovering after having an emergency bypass surgery.
"He went in for a simpler procedure, and they found he needed a bypass," a spokesperson for the Harrison family told Fox News Digital. "He is resting comfortably and looking forward to a full recovery."
"He is grateful for the doctors and staff at the hospital and that his wife and family can be with him during this time," the statement continued.
The medical emergency comes at a time when Harrison has spoken about being grateful for his family — especially his new wife, Angie.
Harrison previously told Fox News Digital he was the "happiest I've ever been."
On Jan. 3, Harrison and Agripina "Angie" Polushkin, 42, tied the knot at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
The past few years have been hard on Harrison.
His son Adam, 39, died in January 2024 from an accidental fentanyl overdose after years of struggling with addiction. He later lost his mom, Joanne Harrison, in November 2025 at 85.
Harrison was able to lean on Angie for support during those dark times.
"She was there for me," he said. "And that's the important part. She was there for me."
Harrison said the two connected when they first met
"I just started talking to her, and you have a conversation with her. And she's really, really smart," he said. "And, you know, I'm kind of an egghead myself."
"I mean, I read books on physics for fun," he added. "But it's just really refreshing to just be with someone who's just a genuine person, and, I don't know, there was just something about her when I met her."
