Trump Bans Media Outlets From White House

It appears people won’t be seeing CNN, MSNOW and Politico at the White House.

That’s because President Donald Trump has banned the three media outlets from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., adding there’s more to come.

“I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them “alive.” Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant ‘reporting’ FAKE NEWS!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America,” Trump wrote, promising, “Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow.”

In his first term, Trump banned Jim Acosta, who was with CNN at the time, from the White House. Trump claimed a video clip showed Acosta “striking” an aide’s arm when he reached for the press room microphone.

CNN filed suit, saying taking away Acosta’s press credentials violated his First Amendment Rights. A judge agreed.

The judge said the network and Acosta “had shown a likelihood they’d succeed on the merits of their due process claim,” and Acosta was ordered to be reinstated.
