Trump Threatens Iran If Peace Deal Not Reached: ‘Won’t Exist Any Longer’

President Donald Trump said if Iran does not sign a peace deal with the U.S., it “won’t exist any longer.”
“Now I have to make a decision. They’ll either sign a very fair deal, or they won’t exist any longer,” said Trump, who made the threat on the South Lawn on his way to Oklahoma.
Trump also told reporters Iran could have been connected to a copilot’s alleged attempt to crash an Israel-bound airplane traveling from Dubai earlier this week.
“I would say the answer based on what I’m hearing is yes, but we’re working on it right now,” he said.
Trump said he spoke “at length” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the incident.
The president’s comments come after he told Time Magazine that he rejected Iran’s latest peace offer.
“It’s just not good enough, nearly,” Trump said. He rejected the proposal because it only opened “some aspects” of the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump told Time Magazine that he would not accept any proposals from Iran that he would not have approved a year ago. He added it was possible he could resume the bombing of Iran following November’s midterm elections.
