“We need to lead as a AI, as a country, and we could see now what they’re learning, and it’s very important,” she said. She added that students must be vigilant but should not be scared of the technology.
This matters because your child’s future job depends on skills they are not yet learning in many classrooms. Melania Trump insists the United States must be the first to lead in this race.
Addressing the audience, she declared that their future depends on guiding and teaching them about what is available. If schools fail to teach these skills, she argues, American children will lose their edge to other nations.
A Concrete Plan for Ashe County
The First Lady announced a specific partnership with Nvidia to bring more AI into the classroom. According to The New York Post, Nvidia will supply StudyFetch with four-year subscription licenses for 1,500 students. These students are in the Ashe County School District.
Nvidia will also provide 100 Jetson Nano Developer Kits. These kits allow students to experiment with robotics. The program works with Melania Trump’s Be Best initiative to make this happen.
Her message to the students was to dream big and utilize these AI tools to construct something never created before. She even joked that maybe one of them will create the next great robot.
Speaking to the children, she said that if they succeed, they must bring their work to the White House to show her. This shows she wants them to see themselves as creators, not just users.

President Donald Trump reinforced this message during a phone call with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. Breitbart reported that the President called Huang while Huang was on stage at the All-In Summit on Monday. Huang put the President on speakerphone for the crowd to hear.
