President Donald Trump directly attacked Kansas Senate candidate Adam Hamilton. The president told a conservative radio host that Hamilton will vote with Chuck Schumer. Trump also claimed Hamilton will take away your guns if he wins the seat.
Trump said Hamilton will vote for Chuck Schumer and take away your guns.
The comments came during an appearance on KCMO’s Mundo in the Morning. Trump sought to boost Senator Roger Marshall’s reelection bid in the race. He described Hamilton as a radical left guy who wants to take away everything.
Trump noted that Hamilton’s church is all in turmoil due to his views. He said the candidate caused the breakups because he is so liberal. The president also argued Hamilton never did anything good for farmers. He stated he does not understand how such a candidate fits in Kansas.

Hamilton’s Centrist Claim
Adam Hamilton wrote an op-ed earlier this Friday morning to defend his record. He claimed he would stand up to his own party if they get something wrong. Hamilton wrote that he has been a registered Republican and an independent. He said the person on the ballot matters more than the party label.
Hamilton stated he is a Kansan first and will work for all of Kansas. Trump dismissed this pitch entirely during his radio interview. Marshall received the president’s commendation as the top choice for ranchers and farmers. He called Marshall one of the best senators serving right now.
According to reports, no one assists the farmer collective more than Marshall. He told listeners he would let them know if anyone could do better. The president said he knows the good senators and the bad ones. He added that Marshall is not even a contest for the other candidates.
Alaska and Late Night Rants
Similar political battles are happening in Alaska this week. Bernadette Wilson, a Trump-backed candidate, criticized Senator Lisa Murkowski. Murkowski’s backing of Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins was revealed by Wilson to Fox News Digital. Both individuals hold comparable opinions regarding the oil sector and taxation, she stated.
Wilson called them two peas in a pod and said it should not surprise anyone. She argued Kreiss-Tomkins supports an increase in income tax and fuel tax. He also wants to come after oil companies in the state. Wilson said she has sounded the alarm about these policies since 2010.
In a separate story, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel made jokes about Sarah Palin. Kimmel responded to Trump’s remarks about transgender children at a rally. He said doctors turned Timmy Palin into Sarah and their parents did not know. Kimmel claimed this is exactly what happened to the former Alaska governor.
Unexpected mockery directed at the governor caused the crowd to laugh following their gasp. Kimmel then told the crowd to turn the car around if they picked up the wrong kid. He added that he does not think anyone actually believes that story.
The Road Ahead
The Kansas Senate race remains tight despite the heavy hitting from the White House. Recent polling shows Hamilton holding a 4-point lead over Senator Marshall. This is a shocking twist for a state that usually favors Republicans. Marshall won his last election by double digits before this new challenge.
Trump said he loves Kansas and wants to make sure Marshall is in good shape. He repeated that you cannot do better than Roger Marshall for the state. The president made these comments while discussing his favorite NFL quarterback. He praised Patrick Mahomes because he knows how to win.
Marshall faces a difficult path to keep his seat in Washington. Hamilton continues to push his message that he will work for all Kansans. The election will determine if the state stays in Republican hands.
