President Donald Trump announced a new military super range in Montana during a rally in Kalispell. The Pentagon will test advanced weapons, including hypersonic systems, at the site. Trump also pledged $3 billion in mortgage funding to help 10,000 families buy homes.
This dual announcement targets national strength and family stability in one stop. The move places Montana at the center of next-generation defense plans. It also puts real money into the hands of local voters who need it.
A New Home for High-Tech Defense
The President told supporters at the Majestic Valley Arena that the Department of War is building a special testing ground. “I’m pleased to inform you and announce that right here in Montana, the Department of War is going to establish a new super range for testing advanced weapons and technologies,” Trump said.
Per Fox News, the range will focus on autonomous weapons, space tech, and electronic warfare. These systems move faster than sound and operate without human pilots. The site will ensure the American military always reigns supreme, Trump added.
He joked that Senator Tim Sheehy had been pressuring him to bring the project home. “Leave me alone, Tim. Tim Sheehy would drive me crazy,” Trump quipped to the crowd. The location details and cost remain unconfirmed, but the commitment is clear.
Beyond defense, the President addressed the housing market directly. He revealed that Fannie Mae will invest billions to support first-time buyers in the state. “Under my leadership, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be investing $3 billion in Montana mortgages to help 10,000 Montana homebuyers achieve their American dream,” the president said.
Bill Pulte, the chairman of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, attended the event to witness the pledge. This funding aims to lower barriers for young families trying to secure a place to live. It is a direct injection of capital into the local economy.
Trump argued his administration has already driven down poverty and raised individual wealth. He told voters the choice in November is simple and stark. “You can vote for the radical left Democrat communist to loot your wealth, raise your taxes by $5 trillion,” Trump said.
The combination of high-tech jobs and affordable housing creates a powerful economic engine. Local businesses will benefit from the influx of military contractors and construction crews. Families will find it easier to put down roots in their own towns.
