Late-night host Bill Maher is expressing concerns again about Vice President Kamala Harris.
During a segment of HBO’s “Real Time,” Maher said, “I’ll give you another reason why, a good reason why, Biden shouldn’t run: the Kamala problem.”
“Now, I like Kamala Harris, but for whatever reason, it just didn’t work out, okay? I think she would make a great president of the University of Santa Barbara here in California,” he continued.
Maher went on:
“But if Joe doesn’t run, then we don’t have to worry about her running, because it’s hard to get rid of your running mate that you ran with last time. But if you don’t run, then that kind of goes out with you.”

After a short discussion about whether Harris was unique in her ability to predict what the main issue of the 2022 midterm elections would be, Maher said, “Let me put it another way. Couldn’t Biden wind up doing a kind of Ruth Bader Ginsburg thing where he stays on a little too long and takes down the whole thing with him?”
“That’s what I worry about,” he added.
Maher’s comment refers to the late-Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg whose death in 2020 paved the way for former President Donald Trump to appoint a third justice.
Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) interjected to say President Joe Biden is in good health.
However, Maher shot back, “He’s in good health now.”
“He’s a little befuddled sometimes…Oh, come on. He keeps saying his son was killed in Iraq and he wasn’t,” he added.
In October, Maher suggested Biden should drop Harris from the ticket if he runs again because she is “a bad politician” and “not very popular anywhere.
