Tesla CEO Elon Musk is taking a shot at President Joe Biden for his use of teleprompters.

Musk appeared on the ā€œAll Inā€ podcast this week and co-host Chamath Palihapitiya asked the businessman if he has been ā€œdisappointedā€ by Biden’s immigration policy.

ā€œMaybe you could have expected it from Trump because that was the rhetoric he needed to use to get elected,ā€ Palihapitiya suggested.

He continued, ā€œIt’s not as if Biden has flipped the script and said, ā€˜Okay, we’re going to go 180 degrees in the other direction. He’s kind of kept it the same. Which has been really surprising actually.ā€

ā€œIt’s hard to tell what Biden is doing, to be totally frank,ā€ Musk said.

He continued, ā€œThe real president is whoever controls the teleprompter. The path to power is the path to the teleprompter, cause he reads the teleprompter.ā€

ā€œI do feel like if somebody were to accidentally lean on the teleprompter, it’s going to be like Anchorman,ā€ he added.

He went on to criticize what he suggested was a lack of accomplishments on the part of the Biden administration.

ā€œThis administration doesn’t seem to get a lot done…The Trump administration, leaving Trump aside, there were a lot of people in the administration who were effective at getting things done,ā€ Musk argued.

By contrast, he said, ā€œThis administration seems just to not have like the drive to get sh*t done. That’s my impression.ā€

Last week, Musk took to Twitter to argue that Biden was misreading the results of the 2020 presidential election.

ā€œBiden’s mistake is that he thinks he was elected to transform the country,ā€ he wrote.

Instead, Musk suggested, ā€œActually, everyone just wanted less drama.ā€

While Musk has been critical of Biden, he has also stated that he would like a ā€œless divisiveā€ presidential candidate in 2024 than former President Donald Trump.
