Tesla CEO Elon Musk is taking a shot at President Joe Biden for his use of teleprompters.

Musk appeared on the “All In” podcast this week and co-host Chamath Palihapitiya asked the businessman if he has been “disappointed” by Biden’s immigration policy.

“Maybe you could have expected it from Trump because that was the rhetoric he needed to use to get elected,” Palihapitiya suggested.

He continued, “It’s not as if Biden has flipped the script and said, ‘Okay, we’re going to go 180 degrees in the other direction. He’s kind of kept it the same. Which has been really surprising actually.”

“It’s hard to tell what Biden is doing, to be totally frank,” Musk said.

He continued, “The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter. The path to power is the path to the teleprompter, cause he reads the teleprompter.”

“I do feel like if somebody were to accidentally lean on the teleprompter, it’s going to be like Anchorman,” he added.

He went on to criticize what he suggested was a lack of accomplishments on the part of the Biden administration.

“This administration doesn’t seem to get a lot done…The Trump administration, leaving Trump aside, there were a lot of people in the administration who were effective at getting things done,” Musk argued.

By contrast, he said, “This administration seems just to not have like the drive to get sh*t done. That’s my impression.”

Last week, Musk took to Twitter to argue that Biden was misreading the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“Biden’s mistake is that he thinks he was elected to transform the country,” he wrote.

Instead, Musk suggested, “Actually, everyone just wanted less drama.”

While Musk has been critical of Biden, he has also stated that he would like a “less divisive” presidential candidate in 2024 than former President Donald Trump.
