As prices go up, the approval rating for President Donald Trump goes down, according to a Fox News poll.

According to the latest Fox News national survey, around 76% of voters view the economy negatively. That is an increase from 67% who felt that way in July. Seventy percent felt the same at the end of former President Joe Biden’s term.

Many across the board report the costs for groceries, utilities, healthcare and housing have increased this year.

For the most part, voters say Trump is to blame for the current economy.

Three times as many say the economic policies Trimp has employed have hurt them.

That is not the only thing that has dropped. Approval of Trump’s handling of the economy has hit a new low

Disapproval of his job performance hit record highs among his base supporters.

Do you believe Trump's economic policies are hurting the economy?

About six in 10 believe Trumpand lawmakers on both sides of the aisle don’t care about them.

Republicans fare better regarding border security, immigration and crime; Democrats do better on issues like affordability, wages, healthcare and climate.

Voters are divided on Trump’s peace deals and dealing with alleged drug-traffickers.

A career-high disapproval rating for Trump was reported among men, white voters and those without a college degree.

In March, the approval among the GOP was 92%; not it is 86%.

The numbers including all voters show 41% approve of the job Trump is doing, while 58% do not approve.
