President Joe Biden has yet again forgotten Vice President Kamala Harris’ title.

During a White House event to celebrate Diwali Monday, Biden said, “Happy Birthday to a great president, we know your mom is always with you.”

Harris’ actual birthday was on October 20.

Biden tweeted at the time, “Happy Birthday, [Vice President Kamala Harris] – I’m proud to call you a partner and friend.”

This is not the first time Biden has made this mistake.

While delivering remarks about voting rights on the campus of Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College, Biden explained, “Last week, President Harris and I stood in the United States Capitol to observe one of those before and after moments in American history.”

During an appearance at the South Carolina State University commencement ceremony in 2021, Biden made the same error while speaking about police reform.

“On police reform, I share the frustration,” Biden said.

He added, “And I know the family well – the George Family Justice Act, Policing Act – I know the family well.”

Biden then noted “President Harris is a proud Howard [University] alum.”

The president’s gaffes have become a focus for Republicans in their efforts to question his competence.

Some Democrats have also acknowledged it is not helping Biden.

One Democratic strategist told The Hill, “It’s not a great look.”

The strategist explained, “And we all know it only feeds into the criticism of the president and his age. [Biden] has to be really careful to not give the other side easy fodder.”

During an interview with MSNBC Sunday, Biden commented on his energy level.

“In terms of my energy level, in terms of how much I’m able to do, I think people should look and say — can he still have the same passion for what he’s doing?” Biden said.

He added, “I’m in good health. All my, everything physically about me is still functioning well, so you know, and mentally too.”

Still, Biden acknowledged he “could drop dead tomorrow.”

If Biden were to take the White House again in 2024, he would be 86 by the end of his term.
