There is one less O’Donnell living in the U.S.
That’s because actress Rosie O’Donnell has moved to Ireland, according to a report on the Daily Wire.
O’Donnell’s move came after President Donald Trump regained the White House in the Nov. 5 election. She also blamed legacy media for not doing its job.
The 62-year-old TV personality and comedian announced her move Tuesday with a post on TikTok. The staunch Democrat said she moved Jan. 15 to the Emerald Isle with her daughter, Dakota, 12. Dakota now goes by Clay.
“It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say. The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming and I’m very grateful,” O’Donnell said. She added the move will “be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child.”
“I’m happy. Clay is happy,” she said. “I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”
She did not name Trump by name, but it was clear who she was talking about.
“It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know,” O’Donnell said, who has had a running feud with Trump.

The former host of “The View” said she felt like she and her child “needed to take care of ourselves and make some hard decisions and follow through.”
O’Donnell also called out legacy media, which “has been letting us all down” and “haven’t been doing their job … in order to maintain a democracy.”
“So, here’s hoping that they [media] will get better before it’s too late,” O’Donnell said. “And here’s hoping that it’s not too late already. Protect your sanity is all I can say. Protect your sanity as much as you can, and try not to swim in the chaos if possible. But I know it’s nearly impossible when you’re there in the middle of it.”
O’Donnell has adopted five children — Parker, 29, Chelsea, 27, Blake, 25, Vivienne, 22, and Dakota, 12, per Hello! magazine.
