Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) received praise for her rebuttal to President Joe Biden’sState of the Union address.

Following Biden’s speech Tuesday evening, Sanders delivered her rebuttal saying, “The Biden administration seems more interested in woke fantasies than the hard reality Americans face every day.”

She added, “Most Americans simply want to live their lives in freedom and peace. But, we are under attack in a left wing culture war we didn’t start, and never wanted to fight. Every day we are told we must partake in their rituals, salute their flags, and worship their false idols.”

Sanders continued, “That’s not normal. It’s crazy, and it’s wrong.”

Additionally, she made it clear “Republicans will not surrender this fight.”

Sanders received praise from Twitter users.

During her rebuttal, Sanders also took direct aim at Biden.

She labeled Biden “unfit to serve as commander in chief” and said his “weakness puts our nation and the world at risk.”

Commenting on his age, Sanders added, “At 40, I’m the youngest governor in the country, and at 80, he’s the oldest president in American history.”

The governor then declared “it is time for a new generation of Republican leadership.”

Last week, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) shared that Sanders would be delivering the rebuttal, acknowledging her as the “youngest governor in America, First female governor in Arkansas history, First father-daughter governance in history.”
