Americans continue to question when the nation will bounce back from the coronavirus crisis, and President Donald Trump is preparing to give them answers.

“We have to get our country back. People want to get back, they want to get back to work.” Trump said. “We have to bring our country back, so I’ll be making a decision reasonably soon.”

He went on to explain how a decision like this cannot be taken lightly and how a lot of things go into it. Trump pointed to “facts” and “instinct” as factors affecting his decision.

Check out his comments below:

Trump proceeded to comment on the council the administration is building up consisting of leaders from different fields including politics, business, and medical.

Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro asked Trump if the reopening of the United States will be a “renaissance.”

“I think the stimulus coupled with this pent up demand and everybody wanting to get out and go back to work, I think we’re going to have a just a tremendous surge,” Trump said. “I think it’s going to be like a rocket ship, I really believe that.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci is predicting parts of the United States could reopen shortly, as soon as next month, as IJR previously reported.

Fauci explained it is not going to happen all at once, it is going to depend on different parts of the country and slowly rolling back restrictions.

While the reopening of the United States may be a slow process, Trump is adamant the nation will bounce back stronger than before.

“We’ll be back bigger and better and stronger than ever before, you watch,” Trump said.

As of Sunday afternoon, the United States is the nation with the most coronavirus cases reporting at least 532,339 coronavirus cases and up to 21,489 deaths.
