Former President Donald Trump is offering his opinion on why millions of Americans are hesitant to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
In a statement on Sunday, the former president said, âJoe Biden kept talking about how good of a job heâs doing on the distribution of the Vaccine that was developed by Operation War Speed or, quite simply, the Trump Administration. Heâs not doing well at all.â
âHeâs way behind schedule, and people are refusing to take the Vaccine because they donât trust his Administration, they donât trust the election results, and they certainly donât trust the Fake News, which is refusing to tell them the Truth,â Trump added.

Trump has repeatedly made the unfounded claim that the presidential election was stolen through widespread fraud. However, his campaign and allies have lost dozens of lawsuits challenging the election results.
His comments come as the U.S. fell short of Bidenâs goal of ensuring that 70% of the adult population received at least one dose of the vaccine by July 4.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 68.2% of Americans over 18 have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 59.4% are fully vaccinated.
