President Donald Trump received a special delivery from McDonald’s via Door Dash.
The delivery — consisting of two bags — came Monday from Sharon Simmons, who was then tipped $100 by the president, the New York Postreported.
Simmons hand-delivered the fast food to Trump on the colonnade outside the West Wing.
“This doesn’t look staged,” the president said.
Trump used the delivery to promote his “no tax on tips” initiative as the filing deadline is two days away.
“The no tax on tips is something special. It’s very special,” Trump said.
When asked if Simmons got a good tip, the president reached into his pocket, pulled out the $100 and handed it to her.
“Yes,” she replied.
Simmons said is using the $11,000 in tips she made last year to support her family, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt posted on X.
