Normally, speaking to a U.S. president would be memorable. That appears to not be the case if you are Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson sat down with Putin for a two-hour interview on Feb. 6 in the Kremlin. The two covered a variety of topics, including the war in Ukraine to President Joe Biden.

“I cannot remember when I talked to him,” Putin said of Biden. Putin added the two last spoke before the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

Putin appeared to mock Biden’s continued financial support for Ukraine.

“If you really want to stop fighting, you need to stop supplying weapons. It will be over within a few weeks. That’s it. And then we can agree on some terms before you do that, stop,” he said about aid to the Ukraine.

Putin said at the moment, there is not much for the U.S. and Russia to talk about.

“You were going to deliver such and such weapons to Ukraine. Oh, I’m afraid, I’m afraid. Please don’t. What is there to talk about,” Putin said.

While Putin is no fan of Biden, he does like former President Donald Trump as well as former President George W. Bush.

“I had such personal relationship with Trump,” he said, adding he also personally liked George W. Bush.

When the conversation turned to X, formerly Twitter, owner Elon Musk, Putin said Musk was said to have implanted a chip in a human brain.

“I think there’s no stopping Elon Musk. He will do as he sees fit,”Putin said.

Putin also argued the reason behind the detainment of Evan Gershkovich, a 32-year-old Wall Street Journal correspondent on espionage charges.

“He’s not just a journalist. I reiterate. He’s a journalist who is secretly getting confidential information,” Putin said in response to Carlson’s assertion that Gershkovich is not a spy.

Carlson is the first Western media journalist to interview Putin since the start of the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine.
