Footage of his performance went viral after he worked the crowd.

Ramswamy’s popularity has continued to grow as he reaches out to voters. He recently overtook Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) for runner-up in the Republican primary polls, according to Cygnal Polling & Analytics.

In addition, his interactions with voters have become a common affair during his campaign.

On Saturday, he posted about visiting the Iowa State Fair and shared pictures of him and his family at the event.

During his noon Soapbox talk, he drew a large crowd and spoke about a multitude of subjects, including free speech, faith, the border crisis and parental rights.

This is a 1776 moment. 🇺🇸 I’m running to revive the experiment that our Founding Fathers started 250 years ago.

He said, “Our U.S. Constitution, it is the greatest form of governance and source of freedom in human history.”

He spoke with Gov. Kim Reynolds during the fireside chats about reducing big government. He posted a clip of the discussion stating, “If you can’t fire somebody who works for you, that means they don’t work for you. It means you work for them — you are their slave.”

If you can't fire somebody who works for you, that means they don't work for you. It means you work for them — you are their slave. Shut down the deep state. pic.twitter.com/6BGTU0INAX

— Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) August 13, 2023

Ramaswamy also opened up about the state of the GOP race noting, “40% of my 70,000 donors to this campaign are first-time-ever donors to the Republican party in any form compared to 2% normally.”

No matter who you are, where you came from, or what your skin color is, you can achieve most anything with your own hard work, commitment, and dedication. And you’re free to speak your mind at every step of the way. That is the American Dream. That is what I am running to revive… pic.twitter.com/QvNwrmGn5K

— Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) August 12, 2023

His campaign slogan is simply, “Truth,” and his commitment to”speaking the truth” is gaining steam.

While Ramaswamy is the first known GOP candidate to rap for his constituents, his message is being heard and people are responding.

Respect: This Iowa voter didn’t have his hat or book with him so he leveled up & asked @VivekGRamaswamy to sign his shirt instead. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do when the next president is in the room. 🫡🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/mSjBqklcMw

— Zach Henry (@zhenryaz) August 13, 2023

Zachery Henry, his deputy communications director, posted a video of an Iowa man having Ramaswamy sign his shirt because he didn’t have a hat or a book to be autographed.
