Argentina, oficialmente la República Argentina, es un país en el extremo sur de América del Sur. Cubre un área de 2,780,085 km2 (1,073,397 mi2), lo que lo convierte en el segundo país más grande de América del Sur después de Brasil, el cuarto país más grande de las Américas y el octavo país más grande del mundo.
