Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy slammed the Republican Party and labeled it as having ā€œbecome a party of losers.ā€

When asked by the moderators during the third GOP presidential debate held in Miami, Florida, why he should be the nominee instead of former President Donald Trump, Ramaswamy pointed out that ā€œsomething deeperā€ was happening in the party.

Ramaswamy added that he was ā€œupsetā€ about the results of Tuesday night’s Elections for Republican candidates.

ā€œI think there’s something deeper going on in the Republican Party here,ā€ Ramaswamy explained. ā€œAnd, I am upset about what happened last night. We’ve become a party of losers at the end of the day.ā€

ā€œIt’s a cancer, the Republican establishment, let’s speak the truth,ā€ Ramaswamy continued. ā€œI mean, since Ronna McDaniel took over as chairwoman of the RNC in 2017, we’ve lost 2018, 2020, 2022.ā€

Ramaswamy continued to point out that ā€œno red waveā€ happened during these Elections.

ā€œWe got trounced last night in 2023,ā€ Ramaswamy added. ā€œI think that we have to have accountability in our party.ā€

Democrats in states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Virginia had a lot to be excited about after the outcome of Tuesday night’s election results. Voters in Ohio enshrined abortion rights into the state constitution, and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) won re-election after he focused on abortion rights.

In Pennsylvania, Democratic Judge Dan McCaffery defeated his Republican opponent, and in Virginia, Democrats took full control over the state legislature by maintaining their majority in the state Senate and winning a majority in the House of Delegates.

ā€œFor that matter Ronna, if you want to come on stage tonight, you wanna look the GOP voters in the eye and tell them you resign I will turn over, yield my time to you.ā€
