Bindi Irwin Says Daughter ‘Loves Wildlife,’ Shares What Her ‘Favorite Now Is’

Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late 📺Steve Irwin, revealed how her daughter is following in his footsteps.

In an exclusive interview with People on Saturday, Bindi Irwin, 24, spoke about her daughter, Grace Warrior, 2, and her love for animals.

“She just loves wildlife, and she gets so excited to learn more. She knows so many animal names. It is unreal,” she shared.

The “Crikey! It’s the Irwins” star added, “I mean, I guess it runs in the 👨‍👩‍👧Family.”

Bindi Irwin said Grace’s “favorite now is dinosaurs.”

“She just talks about all these different dinosaur names that we don’t know how she knows them all,” she said.

She referred to Grace’s passion “about the natural world” as “really remarkable.”

Additionally, Bindi Irwin described her toddler as “such a sweet and sensitive soul.”

“I see in her so much love and kindness and empathy. She’s only 2, but … you know, she’s the one to crouch down and wave high to the ants,” she stated.

Bindi Irwin proceeded to detail a sweet moment when Grace insisted on saving an animal’s life.

“The other day we rescued a bee. It had fallen in a little puddle, and she was so intent that we had to rescue this bee,” she explained.
