On Tuesday, Cheney was defeated by Harriet Hageman in the Wyoming Republican primary.
Several conservatives took to Twitter to celebrate her loss.
Conservative commentator Kurt Schlichter tweeted, “Cheney is a loser. She was rejected and it’s because she sucks.”
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) reacted, saying, “Few people in Washington have been as wrong and damaging on foreign policy as Liz Cheney.”
He added, “Congratulations to on her victory tonight. I look forward to working with an advocate for liberty as the next Congresswoman from Wyoming. Bye Liz.”
