Parton has partnered with the Tennessean Travel Stop brand to relaunch their flagship stop in Cornersville, Tennessee, with plans to announce additional locations next year.

The revamped locations will feature modern amenities, curated dining, and authentic regional retail offerings while keeping the stops open during renovations.

Gregory Sachs, chairman and CEO of the Tennessean Travel Stop and Sachs Capital Group, said the partnership honors a longstanding tradition.

“The Tennessean has long been a ‘home away from home’ for truck drivers, travelers, and locals alike. Our roots in this community run deep — we’ve created jobs, built connections, and welcomed generations of people through our doors,” Sachs said. “This new partnership allows US to carry that legacy forward in a way that celebrates everything special about Tennessee.”

Between 2000 and 2016, vehicle travel in Tennessee surged from 65.7 billion to 77.7 billion miles annually, underscoring the demand for high-quality Rest stops. Parton hopes the initiative will create jobs in local communities and support underserved areas.

Her manager, Danny Nozell, emphasized the project’s spirit. “This project reflects Dolly’s love for her home state and her commitment to supporting local business, community, and the travelers who keep America moving,” he said.

With Parton’s personal touch and decades of road-tested experience, travelers may soon find that stopping in Tennessee is almost as joyful as hitting the open road.
