The conviction of Hunter Biden could lead to a change at the top of the presidential ticket for Democrats, according to a House Republican.
On Wednesday, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) spoke to Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo about the conviction of Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, on three felony charges.
Ogles suggested the verdict “creates an opening” for Democrat to “slip someone” such as former First Lady Michelle Obama onto the ticket as the party’s presidential nominee.
“The Biden family can say, ‘Hey, we’re going to take care of our house, we’re going to take care of our son,’ and then allow Michelle Obama to come in and run,” he suggested. “Because, again, Joe Biden can’t win this election, and they know that, and they are desperate for another candidate.”
