Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, will be lecturing students at Tulane University about “fake news.”

According to a syllabus for the class, “Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts,” the United States has a “rapidly advancing partisan divide” driven “substantially by the growing political polarization” in the media.

The class will “explore the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news, and the economics of the news business impact public policymaking in Washington, D.C.”

Hunter Biden came under fire leading up to the 2020 presidential election after the New York Post published a report alleging he introduced his father while he was still vice president to an executive for Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

The president’s campaign at the time denied the allegations, as IJR previously reported.

“Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as ‘not legitimate’ and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing,” Biden spokesman Andrew Bates said.

Former President Donald Trump laughed with his supporters during a rally in October about the report, as IJR previously reported.

His supporters chanted, “Lock him up.”

Trump laughed, “It’s true.”

He later urged former Attorney General William Barr to open an investigation into the report.

Joe Biden called the report a “last-ditch effort” blaming Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

“This is the same garbage Rudy Giuliani — Trump’s henchman. It’s a last-ditch effort in his desperate campaign to smear me and my family,” he said.
