Caitlyn Jenner: ‘I Am All for the Wall’ at US-Mexico Border

Caitlyn Jenner supports the construction of the wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Asked if she would “continue building the border wall,” Jenner, a former Olympic decathlete and reality TV star, replied, “I am all for the wall, I would secure the wall. We can’t have a state, we can’t have a country, without a secure wall.”

During the interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Jenner added, “You have two questions here. One is stopping people from coming in illegally into the state. And then the second question is, what do we do with the people that are here? We are a compassionate country, OK? We are a compassionate state.”

She continued, “I mean, some people we’re going to send back, OK, no question about that. But I have met some of the greatest immigrants into our country.”

Jenner, who recently announced she is running for governor of California, was also asked if she would get rid of sanctuary cities, to which she said, “I would do my absolute best to do that.”

Additionally, Jenner said, “I am for securing this state. I am pro-law enforcement. I am for border protection … pro-ICE. We need these people and they do a wonderful job.”

President Joe Biden is canceling projects building the border wall using diverted defense funds. On Friday, a Biden administration official said, “Consistent with the President’s Proclamation terminating the redirection of funds for border wall, no more money will be diverted from other purposes to building a border wall.”

“Today, the Department of Defense will begin cancelling all wall projects using the diverted funds, and will take steps to return remaining unobligated military construction funds to their appropriated purpose as permitted by law,” the official added.
