Co-host of âThe Viewâ Joy Behar called Kyle Rittenhouseâs breakdown on the stand during his testimony an âacting job.â
While testifying Wednesday about fatally shooting two men and injuring another, Rittenhouse began to cry and hyperventilate.
The shooting that killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, and also injured Gaige Grosskreutz, took place after unrest broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
During an episode of âThe Viewâ Thursday, footage was shown of Rittenhouse breaking down.
At one point Rittenhouse testified that he was âtrying to get to the police, running downâ the street. When asked why he was trying to get to the police, Rittenhouse responded, âBecause I didnât do anything wrong. I defended myself.â
Behar responded, âOh, baloney.â
She explained, âThe guy goes across state lines with an AR-15, with his mother, and some other idiot in the car to defend himself against what? Theyâre having a protest in another state and he takes it upon himself to go there. And then he says itâs self defense. No.â
Behar continued, âThat acting job of the crying? I canât even look at it. Thatâs one of the worst acting jobs Iâve ever seen.â

As Rittenhouse continued to break down, the judge called for a 10-minute recess.
In case you missed it:
Behar is not the only one to mock Rittenhouse for crying. LeBron James took to Twitter to react to the footage.
âWhat tears????? I didnât see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court,â James tweeted.
Additionally, co-host of âThe Viewâ Ana Navarro tweeted her response, saying, âKyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and injured Gaige Grosskreutz, now 27.â
She added, âThink about how much their loved ones have cried, real anguish and grief, not crocodile tears.â
