When we are going through mourning God is our comforter.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says, âPraise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.â
Wynonna Judd, Naomi Juddâs daughter, also spoke at the memorial and expressed her grief saying, âTonight is a celebration, and at the same time I canât put into words how devastated I am. I miss her so much.â
She performed an emotional rendition of âRiver of Time,â which was a song she sang with her mother.
Naomi and Wynonna Judd were a successful music duo called, âThe Juddsâ and Wynonna Judd announced during the memorial that she would continue touring despite her motherâs death.
âAfter a lot of thought, Iâm going to have to honor her and do this tour. Iâm just going to have to. Tonight, as we close, the show must go on, as hard as it may be. And we will show up together and you will carry me,â she said, according to the NY Post.
