Savannah Chrisley, daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley,Ā got candid about juggling dating and taking care of her niece, whom her parents adopted, and brother while they are in prison.
On the March 21 episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, she spoke to guest,Ā Andrew Jannakos,Ā about how āhardā it is to date when children are involved.
āIām helping to raise my 10-year-old sister and 16-year old-brother and Iām trying to date,ā she explained. āAnd Iām like,Ā āWhat do you do with them?āĀ The 16-year-old, heĀ drives and all that, but the 10-year-old IāmĀ like, āOK, well, I mean, you gotta maybe come have dinner with me.'ā
Savannah Chrisley, 25, also spoke about the transition from it just being her and the person sheās dating to now her siblings taking part.
āFrom the beginning,Ā itās really alwaysĀ all of you, and not just you and that person,ā she said.
In June 2022, Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of āconspiring to defraud Atlanta banks.ā
On Jan. 17, they reported to prison to serve out their combined 19-year prison sentences.
On the Feb. 7 episode of her podcast, Savannah Chrisley revealed that she āhad a full-on breakdownā one night while caring for her niece.
āI was trying to find Chloe proper clothes to go and visit my parents and find her hair stuff. I just sat down on the floor and started crying,ā she said.
Savannah Chrisley opened up about how she felt about taking over her motherās role.
āI am not my mother. How am I going to do this? I donāt feel that I am worthy or capable enough of doing the job sheās done for all her life,ā she said.
She also shared the words of encouragement Chloe gave her the next day.
āI was sitting there, and the next day Chloe said, āYouāre doing a pretty good job. I mean, you made me ramen noodles last night,āā she stated.
