Former President Donald Trump is certainly not trying to be nice when it comes to Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democrats.

On Thursday, Trump into ā€œFox & Friendsā€ and was played a clip of Harris — the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee — calling him a predator and a fraudster.

ā€œThere’s the attack, what’s the retort?ā€ co-host Brian Kilmeade asked.

Trump responded, ā€œWell, I think it’s disgusting.ā€

ā€œAnd I get a kick out of one thing. They say, ā€˜They say, ā€˜Sir, be nice. You just got hit with a bullet. Maybe he’s changed. Be nice,’ and I’d love to be nice,ā€ he continued. ā€œBut I’m dealing against real garbage when you hear that.ā€

Trump added, ā€œThey’ve weaponized the justice system against me, they’ve indicted me four times, they’ve pushed other lawsuits on me. It’s never happened in this country, this is like a third-world country, a banana republic.ā€

In a rally on Wednesday night, Trump scoffed at the idea he was changed by the assassination attempt.

ā€œYou know, I was supposed to be nice. They say something happened to me when I got shot. I became nice,ā€ he said, adding, ā€œAnd when you’re dealing with these people. They’re very dangerous people. When you’re dealing with them, you can’t be too nice. You really can’t be. So, if you don’t mind, I’m not gonna be nice! Is that OK? They want me to be nice.ā€
