Abbott Holds GOP Get-Out-the-Vote Rallies Across Texas
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott held a “Let’s Roll” get-out-the-vote event in Corpus Christi, where he urged supporters to vote early, emphasized border security and criticized Democratic opponent Gina Hinojosa. He also promoted a free campaign app that lets volunteers view contacts’ public voting history, party affiliation and registration status. The Corpus Christi rally was part of Abbott’s statewide effort to mobilize Republican voters ahead of the 2026 election; his tour also included an event in Beaumont. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was separately scheduled to rally in Corpus Christi as part of his own statewide bus tour.
