Abbott, Paxton campaign across Wichita Falls, Abilene, Sanger
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton campaigned across the state to rally voters ahead of Election Day, making stops in Wichita Falls, Sanger and Abilene. In Wichita Falls, they appeared separately but urged supporters to vote; Abbott emphasized affordability, property-tax cuts, the economy, border security and law enforcement, while Paxton promoted tax deductions and a larger Child Tax Credit. Paxton also criticized Democratic Senate opponent James Talarico, and Abbott attacked his gubernatorial opponent, Gina Hinojosa. At their rallies, both candidates framed their campaigns around protecting Texas and encouraged supporters to turn out.
