AppLovin Faces Securities Class-Action Over AI Claims

Several law firms say a securities class action has been filed against AppLovin and certain executives on behalf of investors who bought the company’s securities from February 12 through August 5, 2026. The complaints allege that AppLovin misled investors about delays to an AI-generated video advertising feature and overstated how consistently its AI models were improving, along with the resulting benefits and reliability of its advertising platform. The allegations cite a slower-than-expected rollout of AppLovin Ads and the company’s August 5 disclosure that its video tool was still a work in progress; AppLovin also reported second-quarter revenue below consensus estimates. AppLovin shares fell after the company’s disclosures, according to one notice. Investors have until November 16, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff; the claims remain allegations, not findings of wrongdoing.
