BioNTech and Roche to present new cancer drug data at ESMO 2026
BioNTech plans to present 16 oncology abstracts at the ESMO 2026 meeting, including first Phase 2 results for pumitamig plus docetaxel in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer after prior immunotherapy and chemotherapy. It will also report on pumitamig combined with the B7-H3-targeting drug elfetabart drozuntecan across advanced solid tumors, alongside updates involving brain metastases and neuroendocrine cancers. Roche’s Genentech plans to present late-stage findings across several cancers, including Phase 3 results indicating divarasib outperformed earlier KRAS G12C inhibitors in previously treated lung cancer. The company will also share giredestrant results in breast cancer, with reports highlighting outcomes and quality of life, and data on the experimental drug Tam-Peli in hard-to-treat tumors.
