Bolt Graphics seeks $100 million at $700 million valuation for Zeus GPU
Bolt Graphics is reportedly seeking about $100 million at a preliminary $700 million valuation to develop its Zeus GPU, targeting scientific computing, electromagnetic simulation, chip design and professional rendering rather than competing primarily in AI accelerators. The company says its 6-square-millimeter test chip, fabricated on TSMC’s 12-nanometer process, has completed initial testing; its claims of performance advantages have not yet been independently established. The fundraising terms and potential lead investors remain undisclosed, and the capital needed to bring Zeus to market is still uncertain. Bolt has discussed mass production in 2027 and commercial shipments in 2028, but the chip remains in development.
