Charlotte ends Union win streak but unbeaten run reaches 15
Charlotte FC ended Philadelphia Union’s eight-match winning streak with a 2-2 draw, while Philadelphia extended its club-record unbeaten run to 15 games. Milan Iloski put the Union ahead from the penalty spot, but Charlotte’s Rodolfo Aloko and Idan Toklomati scored after halftime to give the visitors a 2-1 lead; Bruno Damiani equalized in the 73rd minute. Both goalkeepers made late saves to preserve the draw. The result kept Charlotte one point ahead of Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference, as the Union’s strong run under interim coach Ryan Richter continued despite the end of its winning streak.
