Rutgers, Michigan State open as 25-plus point underdogs this weekend
Several college football teams opened as substantial betting underdogs in upcoming matchups. Rutgers reportedly opened as a 25.5-point underdog, while Michigan State was listed as a 29.5-point underdog at No. 3 Notre Dame despite starting 2-0; Notre Dame has dominated early opponents behind quarterback CJ Carr. Florida State opened as an 18.5-point underdog at No. 12 Alabama, with the Crimson Tide favored after a strong defensive performance against Kentucky and still seeking revenge for last season’s loss. The Browns opened as 7.5-point underdogs at Tampa Bay after a lopsided Week 1 defeat, while the Buccaneers also lost their opener but will host former quarterback Baker Mayfield’s Cleveland team.
