Dayton Crashes Block Lanes on SR-741, I-75

Multiple crashes disrupted roads in Ohio’s Miami Valley, blocking all southbound lanes of SR-741 at Austin Boulevard and affecting lanes or shoulders on northbound and southbound I-75. In South Carolina, traffic violations can add points to a driver’s license, and the DMV may suspend a license once a driver reaches 12 points; an approved defensive-driving course can reduce a driver’s total by four points under specified conditions. Researchers introduced the BAM traffic model, which uses vehicle spacing to account for driver responses and produced more physically plausible speed predictions in simulations than the classical model. A review of research on using real-time data to predict supply-chain bottlenecks found that the literature it analyzed was dominated by traffic topics, especially congestion and intelligent transportation systems.
